Your Journey Starts Here

We are in our second week of a new school year and are doing so well. I have been meaning to write to tell you both that my children are finally enjoying learning math! My youngest was begging to do mental math problems with me yesterday and insisted on doing more. Believe me when I tell you he resisted me on a regular basis previously! Just changing perspective, using the dice, and different methods provided in your guides has made a world of difference for us. My 6th grader also told me she really likes her math this year. And, my oldest is enjoying Algebra and dug in to her geometry lesson last week (we will have our second lesson today.) Thanks be to God to leading me to the CM method that would work best for my children. And thank you for providing such amazing resources and support.

I just wanted to write and say THANK YOU for writing this curriculum and sharing with all of us! I am a few weeks in to year 2 arithmetic with my 7 year old and we are loving this program. Math has previously been my daughter's least favorite subject that was a struggle to get through each day. But since switching, I have heard her say things like…”I love doing all these fun games in math…. Can we start with our math lesson today!? ….Pleasssseee let me look in the folder, what will we get to do next?” There never has been excitement around math lessons until now. The varied lessons and added in review, plus games! keeps us both engaged. Again, thank you for all the work you put into these guides and breathing new life into our math studies!

I am a mother of four children ages nine through 13. We have homeschooled our whole journey. And I have also done Charlotte Mason the whole time. With math, I tried many different things. I wanted to tell you how pleased I am with Beauty and Truth Math. It has a wonderful flow and insists upon understanding in a gentle and progressive way. We have been filling in holes of understanding and are developing much confidence by using your scripts. Thank you for teaching me how to teach math. Thank you for all the work that you’ve done to make it fun. I especially benefited from the geometry. And the project with making those street maps was a great wrap up for the term. It was challenging, yet they let their creative juices flow. I look forward to the upper terms being out.

My students and I have benefited greatly from your conversation style lessons. I appreciate how you build review into the conversations, and those same ideas have helped me have conversations about the math ideas that my older students are learning. The way the lessons are structured brought to light my own character flaw of trying to push ahead. I've grown in treating my students with respect and meeting them where they are in understanding a concept, and it's improved the relationship between mother and child. Our former curriculum did not reveal that same error in me.
