This is our first ALGEBRA guide for earning high school credit. Algebra 1A covers three of the six total terms needed for a full high school algebra credit.
This guide is written TO the student with a corresponding teacher guide. In these guides, the student will typically do approximately 75% of each lesson without the teacher. Each lesson includes one teacher check-in, providing opportunities for discussion and assessment.
A copy of Algebra I, 3rd ed., by Foerster is needed to be used with this guide. The Algebra section of Our Favorites page links to both a physical and digital eBook version of this text.

Algebra 1A is used in conjunction with Algebra I, 3rd ed. by Paul Foerster. Lessons are scheduled three times a week. The maximum lesson time is 45 minutes.
